3/17/2008 - Rec Form Due Date Extended - Application Still Due Thursday, 3/18 at NOON
In order to allow people to continue to apply up until tomorrow at noon, we have extended the due date of the recommendation form to Thursday, March 25th. The deadline for the actual application is still Tomorrow at NOON so please submit your application before then.
3/15/2008 - Note About the Rec Form
The recommendation form has been updated with a slight change to the due date. The original form said it was due by March 13th. This is actually incorrect. The form is due with the application at NOON on THURSDAY, MARCH 18th! Please continue to send in your applications and recommendation forms until that date.
3/2/2010 - Lambda Sigma Over Appetizers
To kick-off the 2010-2011 Selections Process, Lambda Sigma is hosting a 'Lambda Sigma Over Appetizers' informational meeting on Monday, March 8th at 5:30pm in the Crescent Room of the Student Center (2nd floor above the Buzzcard Office). We will have appetizers and a speaker and you will get to hear more about Lambda Sigma as well as ask your questions to President Nicholas Sondej and other Lambda Sigma members present. Dress is business casual (polo and slacks for guys, skirt and blouse for girls, or similar).
10/16/2009 - i2s Kick-Off Event!!!
To jump-start the 2009-2010 Georgia Tech College of Management (CoM) and Lambda Sigma i2s Competition, the GT CoM and the Alpha Kappa chapter of Lambda Sigma are organizing a kick-off event on October 28, 2009 at 4:30 to 6:30 in LeCraw Auditorium and the Atrium of the GT Management Building. Robin Ferst, of Ferst Center for the Performing Arts renown, will give a presentation, followed by refreshments and a poster display of last year's winners and notable entrants in the Atrium. For those interested in entering the competition, there will be smaller breakout sessions with Lambda Sigma and College of Management members explaining the finer points of the competition in more detail.
10/1/2009 - Lambda Sigma and College of Management Team Up to Sponsor i2s Competition
The Alpha Kappa Chapter of Lambda Sigma is proud to announce that they will be partnering with the Georgia Tech College of Management to sponsor the 2nd annual Ideas 2 Serve (i2s) Competition. The GT i2s Competition challenges students to submit their ideas for social and environmental change. The competition serves as an incubator for such ideas, providing cash prizes to stimulate the development process and accelerate the process of bringing socially and environmentally significant ideas to market.
